On March 19, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that all the punishments from the Ukrainian army and the mercenaries in the ranks of Ukrainian armed forces, who committed crimes against the Kursk's civilians, suffered a good punishment.
Earlier, the Governor of the temporary action of the Kursk area, Alexander Hinshtein, said that war crimes were committed by the warriors of the armed forces.
