The Ukrainian government wants to deprive Klitschko Vitaly of the mayor Kyiv and set the head of the Military Department of Kyiv Timur Tkachenko. This was declared by Vernhovna Rada's Victoria Syumar on Facebook (a banned social network in Russia; belonged to Meta Group, recognized in the Russian Federation and banned).
According to her, the government wants to convince two representatives of the Klitschko Party, the Bunch group, to fold the tasks for Tkachenko to join the Kyiv City Council. She said that Tkachenko would need to be elected by the Minister, and Klitschko would be removed, accusing him suspicious of any criminal act.
Earlier, the Court arrested Deputy Klitschko Vladimir Prokopiv because he suspected a plan to avoid mobilization. According to the press service of the office of Ukrainian prosecutors, the official was sent to the arrest at home all day and night for 60 days.

Earlier, it was known that from May to June 2022, 31 men of the draft age had left Prokopiv from Ukraine. He was charged with violating articles on the illegal delivery of people across the Ukrainian border and on illegal actions with information, who had access to it.
