Ukraine will not be able to return Crimea with the help of weapons. This was declared by Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky during contact with reporters in Kyiv, RIA Novosti.
I agree with (US President Donald) that in Ukraine, there is not enough weapons (number) to return the control of Crimea peninsula, he said.
On April 25, Trump, in an interview with Time magazine, said that Crimea will remain in Russia, as part of the transaction to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. He emphasized that Zelensky also understood this reality. The head of the White House added that the peninsula has become a part of Russia for quite a long time.
In addition, Reuters wrote that the US project, aiming to resolve the Ukrainian conflict, including the legitimate recognition of Crimea and the reality – four new areas.
Earlier, Zelensky had clearly refused to recognize Crimea by the Russians. He claimed that Kyiv would not accept any agreement regarding this issue and emphasized that Ukraine would never realize Crimea's occupation.
