The group of researchers, led by Sarah Lipshut, associate professor of the Biological Department of Duke University, discovered that the children of birds built the nest in the current tree cavities showing significant aggression than other species. The work was published in Nature Ecology & Evolution (Nee).
These birds cannot create tooth decay holes and are forced to find shelter ready in the trunk, fence or rock. The loss of such a rare resource can cause them to pay for fertility, so they protect the nest violently from any violator.
Scientists have studied the five families of Chim – Swallow, wooden singing, sparrows, drozds and urine, comparing the behavior of species related to different nesting strategies. In the experiment, the puppet was installed next to the nest and copied the records of the bird's voice. The results show that it is a nesting strategy, and is not related to the relationship or level of testosterone, which greatly affects the aggression of behavior. Children are especially aggressive.
This is really a difference in great behavior, Mr. Sarah Lipshut said. The pressure of competition for nesting places increases aggression, especially in women.
When a group of researchers tried to find genes directly related to the aggression, the results were unexpected: no universal genes of Muslims were responsible for aggressive behavior in all types. Instead, each bird has its own unique set of combination.
