After deleting Microsoft Script bypassnro.cmd in Windows 11, users start to face issues related to compulsory coding of the disc with BitLocker, which can lead to data loss. This has been reported by Neowin Portal.
In the latest operating system update, this disc encoding mechanism uses Bitlocker to turn on by default and not only affects the company but also the home version of Windows 11 24h2. This may adversely affect the performance of disks and increase the likelihood of data loss.
Users note that Microsoft automatically activates Bitlocker when entering the account without preliminary notification, which leads to the cannot access data in the case of not backing up encryption locks.
In the Reddit community, one of the users warns that the lack of warnings from Microsoft creates serious risks and Bitlocker -related problems. His message has collected hundreds of answers confirming the user's concern.
Currently, Microsoft provides an official guide to backup and restore bitlocker keys, recommended to conserve for emergency situations. Users can manually turn off encryption in the registration book or use Windows 11 24h settings to control the bitlocker parameters.
