British scientists from British University Raskin and the Royal University of London have discovered that the analysis of the soft tissue of dinosaurs can open new ways in cancer research. The research was published in the Journal of Biology Science. Researching the rest of Telmatosaurus Transylvanicus – a dinosaur that was simply raised to live 6670 million years ago – experts discovered structures like red blood cells.
The use of scanning electron microscopes (Sam) allows identifying these elements in fossil bones, which shows that the conservation of soft tissues is better than before. Scientists note that proteins stored in ancient samples may contain locks to understand the evolution of diseases, including cancer. Earlier, the same type of dinosaur had been found signs of cancer, which confirmed the depth of the root evolution of this disease.

The work emphasizes the need to preserve not only skeletons, but also soft fossils for future research. Researchers are sure that further research on ancient proteins can lead to breakthroughs in medicine, including the development of new treatments.
