Meta* has participated in an agreement with XGS energy to build new thermal power plants in New Mexico United States. These objects will be connected directly to the power source, from which Meta*data centers are provided with energy, where AI technologies develop.
Projects are expected to provide 150 megavatt pure energy without using water during this process. According to XGS, in New Mexico, there are some of the best conditions for the geographical generation in the United States, especially due to the presence of hot but dry stones. The company's technologies allow you to receive electricity from them, without water, as in traditional systems.
The project will be carried out in two stages and both plan to launch until 2030. Previously, Meta* worked with other companies on geographic initiatives and signed an agreement for 20 years on the supply of energy from the nuclear power plant in Illinois.
