The first nuclear power plant to work on the moon was planned to prepare for installation in 2030. This was said by the President of the National Research Center “Kurchatov Institute” Mikhail Kovalchuk.

According to Kovalchuk, the Institute has developed complete projects of nuclear stations, which can be used on the moon's surface. Now there is a job about technical solutions and complicated preparation for spatial conditions.
