The US Federal Committee (FCC) has announced the intention to issue a ban on the use of Chinese technologies and equipment in underwater telecommunication cables connected to the United States territory.

The reason for this step is the fear of networkism and access to data from foreign countries, especially China. Underwater cable plays an important role in the transfer of international internet-quantities of 99% of the total amount of data circulating between countries through them.
According to the committee, the threat from foreign competitors is posed as Muslims that require more stringent measures to protect important infrastructure. The US government has long been interested in the ability to supervise and intervention of Chinese companies in handling network traffic.
