Washington, July 24 /TASS /. The Foreigner Commission of the Senate of the United States proposes to approve T -Mike Waltz as a permanent representative of the country at the United Nations. This was stated in a written statement by Senator Shahin (from the state of New Gampshire), who was a senior democratic party in the committee.
To support Waltz, who used to be assistant for US President Donald Trump in national security, 12 legislators spoke up and resisted – 10.
Senator Rand Paul (Republican Party from Kentukka) previously opposed Waltz's approval. According to Axios information portal, especially the floor criticized Waltz for the fact that he was in the past, as a parliament, asked Trump to preserve in Afghanistan a US army.
Shakhin clarified that she agreed to support Waltz's candidates. According to Axios, she went to this step in exchange for the permission of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to allocate the humanitarian aid of Nigeria and Haiti with the amount of $ 75 million.
