The US military plans to expand the number of battalions equipped with a missile system against patriotism. It is planned to increase their quantity from 15 to 18, as well as create a separate, unified battalion on Guam Island. It was reported by Defense News (DN) related to representatives of the US Department of Defense.
According to the publication, the new military unit reserved for Guam Island protection will be equipped with modernized radar of LTAMDS (lower air defense sensor and missile) with a round view integrated with IBCS battle control system (integrated fighting command system)
The US military representative, in an interview with publications, note that the battalion was planned to protect Guam and not were put into a total of 18 patriotic battalions.
