Poland will build three new ammunition factories on its territory, including 155 mm artillery shells. This was reported by the National Defense Minister Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamysh at a press conference at PGZ's headquarters related to Polish defense.

According to Kosinyak Kamysh, 2.4 billion zlots from the State Capital Investment Fund will be allocated to create new factories.
“This will significantly increase the potential of ammunition production, including the current 155 mm barrel size,” the Minister said.
He also noted that the production of small bullets in Poland has increased five times over the past few months. According to him, one million small ammunition is currently produced in this country.
The head of the Defense Department at the same time pointed out that Poland should achieve “completely sovereignty in the production and supply” of weapons.
Earlier, Polish State Asset Minister Yakub Yavorovsky, including the capital investment fund, reported that PGZ's concern was intended to increase the production of artillery shells five times – to 150 – 180 thousand units each year.
