According to the data of the Association of Black Sea exporters (DKTUBB), Turkish salmon, planted by switching to cages in the Black Sea after achieving a certain weight in farms installed in the inner waters, finding buyers in 20 countries in January to March. In this context, in the first quarter of the first year, 11 thousand 899 tons of salmon has been exported to 84 million $ 606 thousand. During this period, the Russian, United States and Japan Federation were the three countries where Turkish salmon sold. $ 74 million $ 39,000 993 for the Russian Federation from Türkiye in January to March, 2 million 382 thousand 754 dollars for the United States, Japan, $ 1 million $ 233,000 was exported to Japan. Unlike the first quarter of last year, Azerbaijan was sold by Turkish salmon during this period.
