    According to 2024 data, a total of 60 thousand 686 tons of rainbow in Türkiye was produced, 20 thousand 540 tons of these were held in Sinop.
    Turkish salmon, weighing 3.5-4 kg from fresh water to salt water, has high demand in European Union countries. Sinop is the largest Turkish salmon production center with a production rate of 33.8 %.

With an increase in global demand for Turkish salmon, it has been claimed that Sinop's position in the field of aquaculture will strengthen.
