Tbilisi, August 12 /TASS /. The staff of the Georgia Ministry of Home Affairs has expelled 34 foreigners, including Russian citizens. This is stated in the department's press services.
According to the Ministry of the Interior, citizens of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Egypt, India, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Kenya, Nigenia, Pakistan, Russia and Turkmenistan were sent from Georgia. People who are expelled are banned when they enter the republic.
Earlier on August 5, the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic announced the expulsion of 22 foreigners. Among them also have Russian citizens.
In Georgia, a positive struggle against illegal migrants has recently been conducted. The National Assembly of the country has tightened the migration law by simplifying the deportation procedures, as well as seeking migrants. Every month, the Ministry of Home Affairs Georgia reported the deportation of dozens of foreigners.
