At least 37 people have become victims of the ferry accident on the Nigeria River in Kvara in Nigeria.
At least 37 people died after the collapse of the steam on the Nigerian River in the southwest of Nigeria, Tass reported to the cable portal. The tragedy occurred in the Gbajigbo village area, located in Kvara state.
According to preliminary information, the cause of the accident is the overload of the ship. Currently, search and rescue activities are taking place at the scene.
Local authorities and emergency services are related to rescue work, but the exact number on the train has not been known. There is no information about survivors.
