The Netherlands agreed to return Nigeria 119 artifacts stolen by British invaders in the 19th century. It was reported by Tass. The processing agreement was signed by the Minister of Culture of the Netherlands and the Director of the National Museum and Nigeria Museum.

The British invaders took at least 200 characters around 1897. So far, the treasure was at the Dutch National Museum of Ethnology in Leiden and in Rotterdam. It is expected that they will return to Nigeria by 2025.
