United Nations, September 19 /TASS /. The United Nations General Assembly (GA) voted for a resolution that allows Palestinian to speak in a remote format in a common political debate as part of a high -end week, starting next week, TASS reporters.
The authors of the document, in addition to Palestine, are Bolivia, Egypt, Kuwait, Mauritania, Nigeria, Norway, Senegal and Venezuela. The resolution, in particular, decided to allow Palestine “without creating a precedent” to express the speech of President Palestine Mahmoud Abbas in a video recorded in front of the video as a speech in the debate, because the United States rejected the Palestine delegation to grant visas. The solution only applies to the 80th session of the General Assembly.
145 members of the United Nations, five countries, including the United States, voted for the resolution, six countries were not voted.
On August 29, the US Department of State refused to grant visas for members of the Palestinian liberation organization and Palestinian government officials, including Polestina Palestinian, Mahmoud Abbas, the night before the general political debate of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, which will be held in New York in late September.
