Retail sales in the United States increased by 0.6 % in August.
The US Department of Commerce has published retail data for August. Accordingly, the number of retail sales in the previous month compared to the previous month increased by 0.6 % to 732 billion dollars has been calculated. The market expectation is that retail sales will increase by 0.2 % during this period. Retail sales increased by 0.6 percent in July. Retail sales throughout the country, August on the basis of annual increased by 5 %. The highest increase in sales in the mentioned period was seen in retailers that are not corporations. Clothing shops, sports equipment, interests, musical instruments and sales books, food and beverage services, gas stations and sales in motor vehicles increased. On the other hand, different store retailers, furniture and sales shops in health care stores and personal care decreased.
