The publication recalls that in the summer of 2023, Russian regions have received the independent resolution of independent digestion of homeless animals. Some subjects have taken advantage of this right and legitimize their death assistance. Among them today there are 15 areas of the Russian Federation: Murmak, Astrakhan, Samara, Orenburg, Kemerovo, Chukotsky and Khanty-Mansi Okrugs, Stavropol, Transbaikalia, Altai, Republic of Tyva and Udmtia.
However, an assistant of lost animals has been legalized in Buryatia, Yakutia and Magadan, however, it can only be performed in these areas in special cases of Muslim – if they show aggression, attack a person or infectious diseases.
Among the two constituent entities of the Russian Federation – Mordovia and Khakassia – the permission to digest homeless animals will soon take effect.
The problem of a lost animal is also considered in the state of Duma. They plan to ban the dogs straying back to the streets and allow their death assistants.
