    The migration service of the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Russian Federation has officially rejected information about the cases of depriving the Russian citizenship received at birth.

    It is impossible to prevent Russian citizens from being born, the department said.

    The only exception is the situation when a citizen decides to withdraw from citizens.

    It can also be noted that the deprivation of civil rights can only be related to those who are accepted into civil rights or receive through procedures for recognition and news reports.

    The Duma State has approved a list of bases to deprive the citizenship of the Russian Federation: more than 80 of them

    Earlier, it was reported to enhance the control of migrants. Specifically, a pilot project will be launched in Moscow and Moscow region, in which migrants will have to undergo compulsory registration at the location, fingerprints, biometric photography and their geographical positioning will be monitored through a special mobile application.

    These measures are designed to increase the transparency of foreign citizens' accounting and reduce the level of illegal migration.
