Russians may face a prison for collecting special mushrooms. This was said by lawyer Alla Georgieva in an interview with Prime Agency.

According to her, for the collection of mushrooms included in the Russian Red Book, mushroom pickers can be responsible according to Article 260.1 of the Penal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal production, collection and circulation of specially valuable factories and mushrooms belongs to species listed in the Red Book of the Russian Federation).
The compulsory job can be assigned up to 480 hours, the improvement labor for up to 2 years, forced labor or imprisonment for up to 4 years in the form of a penalty in a form of up to 1 million rubles, the lawyer said.
