In the 73rd year of life, Boris Tikhomirov, a literary critic, a writer, a doctorate of philosophical science, a famous researcher about Dostoevsky's life and work, died.

Tikhomirov is the Deputy Director of the Dostoevsky Memorial and Literature Museum in St. Petersburg for scientific work and president of the Russian Dostoevsky Association.
According to historian Nikolai Podoskorsky, the cause of a colleague's death is a heart attack.
He noted that Tikhomirov is a member of the Editorial Board of Dostoevsky Magazine and the World Culture, the Ede -chief editor of the Russian Dostoevsky Association, an active participant in the most competent international scientific conferences for the works of Russian writers.
