Face ID technology has been used in iPhone for many years, including budget models, but it has not been deliberately introduced in iPad Air to maintain a difference with top tablets. Analysts note that now iPad Pro has a competitive advantage-a thin case, OLED screen with updated frequency of 120 Hz, nano text cover and magic keyboard. Therefore, adding an ID to iPad Air will not lead to internal competition.
