A powerful flash close to the highest X layer occurred under the sun on Sunday, reported at the Applied Geophysiology Institute (IPG).
“May 25 at 19:30 Moscow's time within X -Ray in the group of points, the flash of M9.0 (S14E73) lasted 28 minutes registered,” the Institute said in a statement.
Also, Sunday, two more times of class M, as well as one – KH.
The sun outbreak, depending on the power of the X -Ray radiation, is divided into five classes: A, B, C, M and X. The minimum layer A0.0 corresponds to the radiation power in the Earth's orbit in 10 nanata per square meters. When switching to the next letter, the power increased by 10 times.
