The Dror-1 satellite is developed by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI). It weighs 4.5 tons, has a length of 17.8 meters and is equipped with the largest transmission and received ever made in Israel.
This is the first model in the new satellite line to replace the old Amos series in the next 15 years.
