NVIDIA has announced the plan to build a new super computer in Taiwan based on 10,000 Blackwell graphics accelerators. The project will be implemented with the participation of the Taiwanese government and the subsidiary of Foxconn, named the major innovation company.
The supercomputer will become part of a major initiative to develop the infrastructure of artificial intelligence (AI), in the center that NVIDIA seeks to strengthen its technologies. The new system will be used, among other things, the Taiwanese semiconductor manufacturing company (TSMC) – an important NVIDIA production partner. The goal is to accelerate the development of new technologies to produce microchips.
NVIDIA is also building a new office called constellation in Taibe. According to the head of Jensen Juan, the current building is no longer able to deal with the load due to the development of the company.
