Scientists from Tomsk State University have developed a new technology to separate the isotopes effectively, including Sao Thien Vuong-235 and Uranus-238 nuclear energy. The work is done at frozen temperatures, in which the atoms lose their usual properties and act like light rather than a substance.
This method is based on the passing of the best multi -layered gas mixture. To achieve the desired selection, the cooling is used with extremely low temperatures – about 4 kelvins, as well as an external electric field to accelerate the charged particles. This helps avoid their delays inside the material and increases the accuracy of separation.
Unlike foreign methods, Tomsk scientists combine many ways at the same time: electrodes, screening membranes and cooling. Thanks to this, it can increase the effectiveness of technology and escape unnecessary impurities.
A new technique can be used not only for uranium, but also for rare and other valuable isotopes, for example, Helium-3 ingredients for thermal plants.
