Moscow's Tagan Court punished Telegram Messenger for 4 million rubles for refusing to remove channels dedicated to homosexual relationships. This has been reported by the court's decision.
According to the document, the messenger was convicted according to the article about the failure of the website owner in case the obligation to delete that information is prescribed by the law of the Russian Federation. In total, Roskomnadzor experts have identified 10 channels for a similar relationship.
Telegram wrote two new fine in Russia
On May 20, the court in Moscow punished Telegram Messenger Inc. A total of 2.8 million rubles for two administrative violations. The first violation involves failing to fulfill the requirements for messaging organizers. The second case is associated with the violation of the personal data law.
In April, Moscow's Tagan Court punished Telegram for 7 million rubles for refusing to delete some channels at the request of Roskomnadzor. The court realized that the messenger did not delete “information or Internet sites containing calls for extremist activities”.
Earlier in Russia, Telegram channels were blocked, in which data from Usrn was illegally sold.
