    The group of international scientists from China and Australia for the first time set up huge neutron stars at the time of establishment.     So far, the mass of a neutron star can be measured in dual systems, in which it interacts with another object, for example, a white dwarf or another neutron star. However, in such systems, a neutron star often adds mass due to the accretion, which makes it difficult to determine its original weight at birth.

    Researchers have analyzed data on 90 neutron stars in dual systems, using probability methods to calculate for accumulated volume after formation. As a result, they discovered that neutrons are often born with a weight of about 1.3 solar mass and heavy neutron stars rather than less common.
