The United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC) calls for a National Assembly to allocate funds to develop specialized software to combat pornography. This was declared by FTC President Lina Khan, talking to the National Assembly, reporting Cyberscoop.
The new software is necessary by implementing its Act law, recently approved by the House of Representatives and criminals, the creation of porn – fake videos or images created by artificial intelligence, using the face of a real person without his consent.
According to Khan, the current FTC infrastructure does not deal with the size of the problem, because the diphes spread quickly and their victims, including young people, face serious psychological consequences. The new system will be isolated from other FTC databases to minimize leakage. Khan also emphasizes the need to hire experts to manage the system and train staff.
The law gives action, supported by both parties, passed the Senate and is waiting for the President's signature.
