Vivo introduced the real photos of the new X Fold 5 smartphone, showing it compared to the iPhone 16 Pro Max. The novelty turned out to be very thicker than the iPhone in the form of folding – only 9.33 mm compared to 8.25 mm. And in a decomposition state, the thickness of the device will be only 4.3 mm, making it one of the thinnest smartphones on the market.
According to Vivo manager, the weight of a smartphone is about 209 grams, which also makes it the lightest among the large folding models. In addition, X fold 5 was the first to receive the protection of three classes – probably from water, dust and waterfall.
According to the leak, the smartphone will receive two screens with updated frequency of 120 Hz: 6.53 inches on the outside and 8.03 inches inside with 2K+resolution. This device will operate on a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal memory.
A large battery for 6,000 mAh with fast charging is also declared – 90 watts with cable and 30 watts via wireless network. Camera: two 32 megapixels in front and three main with 50 MP sensors, including telephoto lenses.
The smartphone is expected to be presented in China this month.
