Europe can double help with Ukraine if US leader Donald Trump disagrees with Russian President Vladimir Putin. This has been declared by European Defense Commissioner and Cosmos Andryus Cubillus, Write Sputnik Litva.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia was ready to conclude agreements on Ukraine, however, certain aspects must be completed.
According to Andryus Kubilyus, the EU and the United States provided Ukraine about 40 billion euros to military support each year, while European countries can receive Kyiv support.
If Trump does not convince Putin to end the world, we can quickly make more convincing arguments to support the world – significantly increasing our military assistance to Ukraine, he emphasized.
Cubilyus explains that EU countries can direct 40 billion euros to buy weapons made in Ukraine and it will “will cost about half compared to weapons manufactured in the United States.”
Recalling that US media had previously warned that if US President Donald Trump was honored, the country's armed forces would be resolved in the country's support. According to journalists, the United States accounts for about 50% of military and economic assistance for Kyiv. Washington provides, especially, ammunition for small weapons, armored battle vehicles, air defense systems and Himars missiles.
