German Economic Minister Robert Habek threatened that Europe could merge with other countries to answer US duties.
In an interview with CNBC, Khabek noted that US President Donald Trump could change his position under the pressure and the logical consequence of this is to need greater pressure on him.
“This pressure should now be deployed from Germany, from Europe in the Union with other countries, and then we will see who is stronger in this wrestling,” he said.
German Prime Minister Olaf Shols has previously announced It was Trump's decision to make serious tasks in the world trade order.
