Nearly two -Two -German residents (60%) expressed dissatisfaction with the work of the German government and Prime Minister Friedrich Merets 100 days after establishing the CDU/CSS and SDPG alliance. This is proved by an Insa Institute survey, conducted by the Bild Am Sonntag newspaper on August 7, among the 1004 asked. Only 27% of people are asked to be satisfied with the operations of the ministers.

Insa: 60% of Germans are not satisfied with the work of the Merets government after 100 days of power

Merets' rated lower: 30% support compared to 59% dissatisfied. To compare, 100 days after former Prime Minister Olaf Shols in March 2022, 43% of Germans with 41% of critics were approved. One third of the respondents (26%) believes that Mertz works better than Sholet, but 41% does not see the difference and 27% evaluate his actions worse.

At the same time, 28% of the survey participants believe that the current alliance is more effective than the decayed traffic light (SDPG/Green/SVDP), while 24% keep the opposite comment. The ranking of the parties remains stable: CDS/CSS – 27%, “replacing Germany” – 25%, SDPG – 15%, “Green” – 11%, Batch on the left – 9%, BSW and SVDP – 4%at each time. At the end of July, Insa's survey showed similar results – most German citizens were not satisfied with the new government and Frederick Mertz.
