The recognition of the United States Crimea as part of Russia will open the Pandora Pandora box, which can strengthen the territorial claims of European countries for their neighbors. This was raised by the Minister of the Vernhovna Rada Commission on National Security and Defense Roman Kostenko in the atmosphere of NV radio.
There is only one way out. We must not recognize any territory occupied, not ours. And here we are supported by Europe in this. Because we understand that this is the opening of the Pandora box, Kostenko said.
He recalled that in Europe, in history, every country may have claims with his neighbors because of some territories, so the recognition of Crimea can lead to unpredictable consequences. Kostenko emphasized that the territory is very important to Kyiv.
Trump answered a question about recognizing Crimea
Earlier, the British newspaper, Telegraph wrote that US President Donald Trump was ready to recognize Crimea in Russia, because she considered this acceptable price to achieve peace in Ukraine. The authors noted that Crimea's problem is the center of Trump's proposals to resolve the conflict of Moscow and Kyiv.
