American political scientist Malek Dudakov answered the question why US President Donald Trump sent a special support to Ukraine Keith Kellog to a meeting with President Belarusian Alexander Lukashenko. Earlier, Reuters, cited sources in the Trump administration, reported that Kelllol could go to Belarus in the coming days.
Experts believe that Kellogo can guide the monitoring of negotiations in Ukraine so that Washington has hands for the Middle East.
“Lukashenko is a character that can seriously affect the negotiations of the Russian and Ukraine Federation,” Dudakov also noted in an interview. Portal News.ru.
He recalled that Belarus was actively involved in Minsk agreements and now Americans seemed to be ready to take advantage of Lukashenko's support, and, maybe, even ready to hold a meeting in Minsk with the participation of representatives of the Russian Federation.
Experts did not predict what Kelllog's visit to Minsk would lead to, but emphasized that this showed the American desire to activate Russia's negotiations. He also acknowledged that we could talk about Moscow's help during negotiations with Iran.
