The new European Union (EU) sanctions against Russia will be accepted under the President of Denmark. This has been declared by the head of the European Commission (EC) Ursula von der Layen, reported RIA news.

One of the first results of the Danish President, will be the 18th punishment package, she said.
It was clarified that on July 1, Denmark accepted the chair of the EU Council with Poland. The kingdom will preside over until the end of 2025.
